[Husker] Alex Gordon Repeat B12 Player of the Week

Alex Gordon was named the B12 Player of the Week again this week (for games played 3/22 to 3/28). At KU over the weekend Gordon hit .444 with 3HR, 4RBI, 8 runs scored and had 6 walks.  He also had a MONSTER 1.444 slugging percentage for the series. 

And for the baseball draft fans amongst you, which is scary if there are a whole lot of you, Gordon is still listed as the #1 college prospect in Baseball America's Midseason update of their Top 50 college prospects. He was also the pre-season #1 as well. While this certainly does not make him a lock to be the #1 overall pick, and the first Husker since Erstad to hold that honor, he should be a lock for one of the Top 5 picks. The picking order for the top 5 is the Diamondbacks, Royals, Mariners, Nationals & Brewers.
