Husker NFL draft history snapshot:

Total first-round selections: 30

Most recent year with three first-rounders: 1972 (Kinney, Tagge, Jacobson)
(Rozier was actually selected in the supplemental draft in 1984,
Fryar & Steinkuhler went in the 1st round of the regular draft)

Most recent year with ANY first-rounder: 1998 (Wistrom, Peter)

Most recent year with 3 players drafted in the the first two rounds:
1997 (Booker(1), Tomich(2), Minter(2))

Prior to 1997, most recent year with 3 players drafted in the first two rounds:
1981 (Gary, Franklin, Redwine, all 2nd rounders)

Based on comparison with the past, 2005 should go down as one of the best NFL draft classes in Husker history.
