Recall that Byron Smith, a JC DT from Texas, was recruited by NU last year until he was indicted for aggravated armed robbery, whereupon Callahan dropped him like a bad habit. Smith is alive and well and participating in spring practice at Arizona, even though he is still under indictment with a court date scheduled for April.
