[Husker] Husker Baseball Update

Greetings,

It was a 2-1 weekend for the Huskers at KU this weekend. The series opener on Friday was cancelled due to weather so the series kicked off with a double header on Saturday. As previously mentioned by Jon (and posted on his fine blog), the Huskers had their 11-game winning streak snapped in the opener, dropping a 7-6 decision. The Huskers bounced back in the second game, winning 9-3 snapping KU's 8-game winning streak in the process. 

On Sunday the Huskers again won decisively, bringing home a 9-4 win. This marked the Huskers first win of a B12 Conference Series since last April and the weekend results moved the Huskers to 21-3 (2-1 conference)while the Jayhawks moved to 21-10 (1-2). 

The Huskers next home game is Tuesday evening versus Creighton at Hawks Field. The game will be televised on NET at 6:30 pm.
