Hmmmmmmmmm............................ so why'd they remove it from the
offical release? And who cares who or what his comment was directed at? It
got all over everyone, didn't it? I suppose it's a dead horse, but it
still bugs me. It was brought back to the surface when I read his comment
in the posted interview the other day regarding the fact that "nothing"
surprised him in his first year. Unless he's talking specifically about
the game of football itself, he's completely full of crap.

And that's my problem, specifically, with both him and SP. Both of them
expect their comments to be taken at face value, regardless of what their
actions are. I don't think either of these men are capable of truly
admitting to mistakes. They may say they were wrong, which is completely
different than admitting to it.

Here's another mention of the comments:

P.S.

Don't take me wrong. I don't have to like Bill Callahan to appreciate him
as our head football coach. I'm not going to dinner with him anytime soon.
Same with Pederson. As long as they're both successful, yay for us, as
long as they're not doing anything that embarasses the University, they
can spew as much BS as they like.

P.P.S.
Did all the Nebraska papers go to account required on their web sites at
all once? <G>
