Mike, this has to be the first time I've ever completely disagreed
with you.  A press conference was the only way to do this.  If you
don't say anything to the press, then you have to put up with
speculation that he's gone.  This way you come out and say, "Hey, he's
our guy for another year, deal with it."

And for your second question as to who's worth stealing in the
incoming class, wasn't one of our recruits from Kansas City sought
after by Missouri, ISU and TTU?
