Steve Sipple of the Lincoln Journal Star talked to
Callahan about position changes...

Seppo Evwaraye to left tackle from right tackle
Lydon Murtha will also start spring ball at left
tackle
Cornealius Thomas will start spring ball at right
tackle
Tierre Green will move to cornerback
Mike Stuntz from QB to safety
Marque McCray from receiver to running back
Jared Helming returns to the defensive line
Blake Tiedtke from safety to cornerback
In a TV interview on KETV-channel 7 in Omaha, Callahan
indicated that some of these players may play both
ways, using the New England Patriots as a model.
Matt Herian is not expected to be ready to go for the
start of spring ball.
Harrison Beck may not redshirt this fall; "the best QB
will play". I wonder if Beck signaled the expected
depth chart: Zac Taylor, Joe Dailey, Harrison Beck,
and Jordan Adams.
Also, former Husker assistant coach Tony Samuel, who
was fired at New Mexico State, has been hired to coach
defensive ends at Purdue.
