Assuming another Big 12 conference tournament opening round loss, which would be par for the course for BC, would NU qualify for an NIT bid with a breakeven record?  If so NU better hope Creighton doesn't win the Valley tournament and get an NCAA bid. Otherwise, I say the NIT doesn't select Nebraska.  A Creighton - NU NIT game has a natural appeal, but I doubt an NU matchup with anyone else does.

Nebraska and Kansas State could play each other again
on Thursday in the 8-9 game in the Big XII tournament.
If not the Wildcats, it would be the Missouri Tigers.
