The fairly recent past.  If you consider only the last year, perhaps the 
Husker football team doesn't deserve to be in the Big 12 either.

Or perhaps you think the Huskers should be in the Lake Woebegone Conference, 
where all of the teams are above average.

I don't think I alluded to anything specifically regarding Baylor football,
though given that Baylor is on 5 years probation it better be squeaky clean.
And I suspect squeaky clean programs don't go to BCS bowls.
