How often does NU buy new aluminum bats? Aluminum bats
will crack over time, this happened to three of ours
at last years state softball tournament. Also one of
the guys who used to play on our team had a cousin
that worked for Worth who told him that aluminum bats
only had so many hits in them before they start to
lose some of their pop do to the make up of the inside
of the bat. If there is any truth to that then I would
guess that NU goes through alot of bats in a year. The
bats that we had crack were not cheap $20 Wal-Mart
bats they all ranged in price from $200-$350 and of
them two were in their 3rd season of use and one in
its second. We only played between 25 and 30 games a
year so the oldest would equal about one season at NU
game wise.
