According to the Weird Herald today, Childress says he's not going
anywhere. If this is true then next season looks very promising!

It's good. It's even better if Childress doesn't take a HC
job somewhere else.

The freshmen made a huge difference. Roster link-

Jensen has said he loves college ball and will be coming
back. Don't take that to the bank until classes begin next
fall though. Daniel Bruce, Phil Shirek, Jeremy Becker,
Brandon Fusilier, Jesse Boyer, and Dustin Timm are also
seniors. Timm may get a 6th year of eligibility for medical
reasons.

The pieces are there for another great year and it will be
interesting to see how well things come together.

57-15, Big 12 regular and tourney titles, regional and super
regional sweeps, and 1 CWS win. What a year.

At least the Big 12 will have a representative in the title
series. Baylor beat Tulane last night. So Baylor and
Florida are the only two remaining national seeds (#4 and #7
respectively). Both UF and UT have a huge advantage with
the pitching staff's much more rested than Baylor and ASU.
