[Husker] Baseball 2006

So what's the outlook for the Husker baseball team next season?  I don't
think that preseason expectations, by the experts at least, was for the
Huskers to make it to the CWS.

 

It seemed like the freshmen really stepped up at the plate in the CWS, and
hopefully that carries over to next season.  And they seem to have some
young pitchers too.

 

They lose Duensing, Kroneke, Simokaitis, Ledbetter, Jensen and Gordon in the
MLB draft (I think that was it).  Simo and Ledbetter were seniors.  Jensen
went in the 23 round, so I guess there's a chance he may choose to come
back.
