Mildly Husker related...

Media reports (including a TV station in Wichita) say
long-time Wichita State baseball coach Gene Stephenson
will take over at Oklahoma.

If I remember correctly, from my time in Wichita,
Oklahoma is Stephenson's alma mater. I can see the
move from that standpoint, but Gene is no young guy
anymore - I'm surprised Oklahoma would go for a crafty
vet instead of someone that can take the program for
the long haul.

Anyway, my two cents.

And for those of you who enjoy video games, and can't
wait for college football, NCAA Football 2006 is
shipped July 12th. I'm just really desperate for
football right now.
