Excellent point. Given that coaches are prohibited from even mentioning whom
they are recruiting, there is no good source of info on commitments, other
than various media outlets, and who knows how much consistency there is
among them. I suspect some recruits are occasionally surprised to learn they
have committed to old Siwash. I think you have it right: these kids are fair
game until they tell the coaches to back off.
