Besides, how does a coach know a propect has
"verballed"? Is there a national clearinghouse of
verbal commitments or do the coaches canvas the
different recruiting information services? I doubt it.
I would guess that a coach would call the kid and if
he says he is verbally committed to Whatsamatta U.,
then the coach would tell the prospect to call him if
he changes his mind, otherwise, good luck.
