That is correct. I inadvertantly implied that there are no rules at
all. There certainly are a multitude of rules concerning recruiting
and contact activities between school representatives / boosters /
fans and propects. What I should have said is that those rules apply
whether or not the prospect has given a school a verbal commitment.
There are no additional rules, nor rules which no longer apply, when a
prospect has verballed. The rules change dramatically once a prospect
has signed an LOI, though. (And I imagine the rules change AGAIN once
the prospect actually enrolls at the institution).
