I understand.

But there are NO NCAA rules saying that a player who has VERBALLED
cannot be contacted by other schools. Once a player has signed an LOI
then contact is forbidden unless initiated by the player, and of
course there are usually penalties to that player for cancelling his
LOI or transferring to another school once he has enrolled in his
original school.

Until the LOI is signed, there are no contact rules that I am aware of.
