University of Tulsa, actually. We also got 4-star receiver Chris
Brooks to change his verbal from Missouri.
Last year's NU class had Chris Patrick, Michigan verbal, and Lydon
Murtha, Minnesota verbal.

Bingo. It *is* illegal for a coach to contact a PLAYER at another
school (there was some scuttlebutt about another program contacting
Manaia Brown when Brown was disgruntled with the NU program, but
nothing came of it that I know of), but until the prospect signs the
LOI, they are not a player and therefore fair game. Now, if you are a
coach calling a guy who has verballed to someone else, and that
prospect says "I am solid. Please stop calling me", then ethically you
should quit calling the guy. Until the prospect says your attention is
unwelcome, press on!
