Maybe they want to look more like A&M in 'College Station TX'.

Why not try looking up the zip code 76402 at www.usps.gov?

I think that could prove to be an accurate statement.  

I think he hurt his chances somewhat when he quit at Nebraska after 
most of the head coaching jobs for 2005 were already filled.  I don't
know that he'll find an assistant coaching job for 2005, either.
Does anyone think Gary Barnett will give him a call?  :-)

Schools that might consider hiring him as a head coach may wonder if he 
was 'encouraged' to leave.  Are they likely to call SP for a recommendation?
Will they get a postive one?  

If his goal is to coach at a top-25 caliber school, there really aren't
many jobs like that open at any one time, are there?  Will that hurt 
his chances at getting a job at a school more likely to be in the 
Bottom 10 than in the Top 10?  How many schools want to be a launching
pad for a head coach eager to move up?

I also think that the recent (or relative) lack of success at Nebraska 
that led to Solich's firing and 2004's 5-6 season will taint Turner 
for a year or two, if not longer.
