       I believe Head Coaching experience is a factor, and should be, if 
one is going up but not necessarily going down.   Take Nebraska for 
example, who would one rather see as Head Coach at NU, Pat Behrns who 
just completed his 11th season at UNO as Head Coach?  Or would one 
rather have Turner Gill or Bo Pelini with no Head Coaching experience.  
I personally would rather have Gill or Pelini in that situation.  And, 
we are not talking a big time program.  We are talking about Sam Houston 
State.  I will buy the the idea the one they hired was maybe better 
known in those parts than Gill or maybe they feel he will be more long 
term and that got him the hire.  I doubt seriously he was more qualified 
than Gill.  Turner was Assistant Head Coach under Solich which I think 
would be a higher position than Head Coach at Tarleton State.
