Really?  The guy they hired had previous experience as a head coach
at that level PLUS previous experience at Sam Houston State.  

My guess is that since they kept their previous head coach for 23 years,
not all of them standout years, they're looking for someone who will 
hang around.  

Turner has no head coaching experience, no experience in 1-AA (and life is
a bit different there), no ties to the school, and has publicly stated 
his goal of becoming the head coach at a major school.

That shoe doesn't fit, IMHO.
