When coaches teach anybody anything as it relates to whatever the specific 
sports skill, there's usually a "how to" and a "how not to" way of doing things. 
 Not a lot of gray.  Pretty much black and white.

The two exceptions that come to my mind are free throw shooting and, for 
those golfers out there -- putting.  Rick Barry was as unconventional as it comes, 
and he was the best who ever lived.  I actually saw him miss one.  As someone 
said earlier, it's all about finding something that works, obviously, and 
something you're comfortable with.  For those who putt like I do ... the 
experiment continues.
