      I am talking about coaches hired from the outside.  I can't find 
documentation to show this but I believe a great percentage of the Division 
IA coaches hired form the outside for 2005 had previous Head Coaching 
experience.  Obviously that doesn't happen in 100% of the cases but over 
the years it would seem to be the case.  Charlie Weis, if I have all the 
info, was only a HC on the High School level but has been an assistant in 
the NFL for 15 years and the last five as the Offensive Coordinator of the 
Patriots.  To have Head Coaching experience on a resume is not a negative, 
IMHO.

      I would agree.  It is that way in all walks of life.  If I intend to 
go anywhere in the company I work for I can't continuously say what I think 
and do what I feel like doing no matter how it rubs anyone.
