I would bet the farm, that they would do anything to get him. I believe
this to be an isolated incident due to a obvious overshot of adrenaline.
"He bench presses 225 and has a 36-inch vertical jump. He also plays
centerfield and batted .380 with 20 steals last season. Jackson has a 3.0
GPA and 1280 SAT".
He is probably the best H.S. DB that I have seen. This is apparent if you
saw a subsequent play where he wrestled the ball from a DB ready to make an
interception. Also, reference my earlier post on DeSean Jackson as a DB.
I just hope that U$C doesn't get him where he will be a target for Mark
Sanchez. You may recall that they hooked up for the first TD that was
called back due to a penalty. DeSean is slightly leaning toward Cal and
obviously qualifies academically.
I don't buy the announcer's comments about "act like you've been there
before". Jackson is not a pro. Geez! He is still in H.S. And NO, he has
never been in a national H.S. All Star Game before.
