       I guess I am just so used to Pederson being automatically wrong and 
is not given the same courtesies given others.  People want rock hard and 
absolute proof that Pelini said things about NU but all there has to be is 
something slung out there negative about Pederson and it is automatically 
accepted.

      I would think the below was pretty much quoting him.  I don't know if 
it was an accurate quote or not but I would take it as a quote:



Pelini went on to say that Pederson tried to damage the coach's candidacy 
for the Pittsburgh job. Pittsburgh hired Dave Wannstedt Dec. 23.
