      So, in Solich's case hiring his buddies, former assistants, and 
former NU players are all the best for the position but when Callahan hires 
his buddies, former assistants, and the like he blew it?  My point wasn't 
whether or not actually they got the best for the position.  My point is 
that both Callahan and Solich did and are doing what Head Coaches do in 
bringing in and compiling their staff.  With Solich it is ok but Callahan 
should have kept all the sitting assistants seems to be the opinion of 
some.  That may be the desire of a certain amount of fans but coaches don't 
typically do it that way.  The reason it is so foreign to NU fans is for 
roughly 41 years we didn't have a new coach come in from the outside.
