Nebraska wins a great game in double overtime 95-85 over Kansas State.

Cornhuskers almost gave it away in regulation after a 10 point halftime lead but Neal made 2 of 3 free throws with 1 second left in regulation to send it to overtime.  KState made a great shot in the first OT to escape defeat but had nothing left in the tank for the 2nd OT as the Huskers pulled away.

Great opener to the conference season.  Might give Barry's boys something to move forward on with Simms coming back from injury, these guys might just make some people worry.

Great win Cornhuskers, protecting the home game with a great gritty performance.
