      I didn't know that either.  I had known there was some degree of 
interest both ways between Solich and Indiana.  However, I didn't know 
there had been a firm offer to Solich from Indiana.


      Solich did keep the recruiting coordinator but Callahan kept Gill as 
well.  The point being Callahan was railed from many circles for getting 
rid of the former staff.  Well, our man Solich is doing the very same thing 
at Ohio University.  Solich is filling his staff with his former assistants 
and people he knows.  Coaches just do that.  It is one reason it can be 
very tenuous to be an assistant because your security is only as good as 
the Head Coach's security.
