Sorry, I should have posted this yesterday but we have
major flooding here in Columbus that's keeping us
busy!

Andy Geiger, OSU AD, did in fact announce his
retirement. It is effective at the end of June, a year
before his contract ends, and both he and the OSU
president insist it was his decision to leave. 

To add perspective, we (my station) did an interview
with him a year ago - and he eluded to us then he was
getting burned out and frustrated with the job and
could reitre early.

One of the potential replacements is former Buckeye
great Archie Griffin.

That's the word from Buckeye Country.
