     So, I would hope anytime a  student, any student, wants to transfer , or 
quit, a faulty member puts hands on  and helps that student get placed in 
another institute of higher learning.   If that doesn't happen, according to you, 
it is a derelection of duty.   Damn, I'll bet there is all kinds of 
derelection of duty out there.  Which  prof shall we send down the road first??   I 
guess if these profs  don't do that it is not civilized.  That is why I subscribe 
to this  list.  I learn something all the time.
