[Husker] Visors

Good Evening All:

While watching the USC drubbing of Oklahoma tonight I noticed something that I've been meaning to comment on but never seem to get around to it and that is visors (eye protectants not head visors a la Steve Spurrier or Bob Stoops).

In tonight's game number 21 (sorry I don't know the player's name) for USC is wearing a visor under the face guard of his helmet. This visor is a very dark color which prevents one from seeing this player's eyes, this is not the first time I've seen this type of eye protection. I'm all for protecting ones eyes especially in a game as rough as football but one would think that the darkened visor would give that player an advantage that isn't "fair".

I would like to see the NCAA regulate this type of equipment so that it is standard and that all visors are clear or perhaps a very light "smoke" color at the very least.

To help this have some relation to Nebraska I cannot recall any player at NU wearing a visor clear, darkened or otherwise.
