[Husker] Another Husker leaving and speaking negatively

But, the statement was, your buddy's experience wasn't good.
Why? Just because he did not get on the field enough? If that is the case, then his treatment must have been fair. He must have exhausted all of his options and realized that sticking it out was best and not getting into a mud-slinging fight with TO was the path of least resistance. I dunno.

Remember Todd, we are only hearing one side of the story. BC has no reason to get into a mud slinging contest with a former player.

To answer your question, the guy I know didn't quit, he stuck it out.

Ask your friend this question, then post the answer.
Did TO ever, ever, ever tell him he didn't want to talk about it? That he would not help him transfer or give him a letter of recommendation? Did TO or anyone on TO's staff make your buddy or any other player he witnessed feel like crap?

I know a guy who was a walk on at NU under TO. Got on the field once in 4 years. He said his experience wasn't good and he hasn't followed the program in years. However, he never blasted the team or TO, nor did he ever quit. He blames no one, just wasn't good enough. I have a lot of respect for this guy very little for the quitters who leave and complain on the way out the door.

My point is this Neal, do you really think Harrison Beck's folks are going to give monetarily to the University twenty years after HB is gone? Do you really think that his parents are going to continue to go to the game EVERY Sat. twenty years from now, just because Johnny's third cousin is a walk on?
    Yeah, didn't think so either.

A lot of bench warmers have ties to NU. Like Truman said, if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. Did Horne transfer to Northern Iowa yet?

Neal, this "kid" has a family with a tradition at NU spanning at least 25
years. Not including other family members, friends, etc. Hmpppfffff.
