     And you don't think 9 plus wins a year had anything to do with it?  I have posted this before but do you believe TO could have been the great and glorious upright man that he was while coaching NU for 25 years and had a less than .500 record and be looked the way he is today.  If I had to answer that question my answer would be "no way."  There is no way he would have lasted 25 years if he had not had the kind of record he had.  No one would have said, TO you are a great man and even though you can't seem to win a football game we appreciate the example you are to young men and we will keep you here as long as you want to be here.  TO had a tremendous record before his NC years.  The reason he was here for 25 years is because he won football games and not because he was a great man.
