Osborne was not known for kicking a player off of the team every time there
was an accusation. He would usually wait for the evidence to play out.
Sometimes it was correct and then there were actions. Those times he usually
took the heat for waiting so long. Other times the accusations proved to be
false. Those times there was usually not a "second story" in the press
saying he was right to wait.
"Look the other way in the name of winning"? Not likely.
