I believe you are right about that. However, that doesn't mean certain people don't deserve to be written off.

I am in no way saying coaches can't make mistakes. They are human and can make a mistake as easily as the next guy. But I do know one thing about 99% of coaches. They want to win infinitely more than than the fans do. After all you and I have nothing to lose if we are wrong about a play call or a player evaluation. But it is the coaches livelihood that is at stake. If a player is obviously phenomenal to you and me I have to believe the coach can see that as well. As much as a coach would want to win, if he dismisses a phenomenal player I would have to believe there are other mitigating circumstances.

I don't care about their legal troubles even if they are a Husker. I just thought it was news worthy as the article appeared in the Omaha World Herald. It isn't like we don't discuss former Huskers. We talk about Eric Crouch every now and then, for example, and he hasn't been a Husker for two years.
