Prior to my earlier post, I hadn't read today's Journal-Star. They featured
NU baseball today with a projected line-up that switched the lead-off and #7
hitters that I'd mentioned earlier. Boyer was lead-off with Adams 7th. I
would suspect the hotter hitter would be at the top. The Journal-Star line-up
also showed Simokaitis in the number two hole, but mentioned that Wehrle, shown
in the number 9 hole, could move up to number two if he produces early on. It
looks to me like the projected lead-off and seventh place hitters, as well as
#2 hitter and #9, are interchangeable.
If you're to go by what the Journal-Star lists, veteran outfielder Daniel
Bruce is not projected to be in the opening day line-up.

No restrictions because of past health problems. Hopefully he can still get
people out.
