[Husker] Dailey

I don't know if it was necessarily bad play calling, poor execution, or
great defense that hurt the offense last season. It's easy to say "they
should have called this or that", but none of us knows what information
Callahan or Dailey had in those games (e.g. ISU , OU). It is very possible
that Callahan wanted to run a different game plan, but either the players
weren't executing properly or the defensive schemes were such that the
Huskers had to run something different. Another possibility is that the
defenses were disguised well enough to mess up any audibles or hot reads
that Dailey might have had. I suspect the slant patterns were taken away
from the Huskers by cornerbacks playing the inside or maybe coaches and/or
Dailey were afraid he wouldn't be able to throw over the linemen.
At any rate, last year is over. I'm looking forward to a new season...one
with a great showing by our Huskers.
