[Husker] Dailey

A player can really grow from year one of action to year two. Dailey,
for all intents and purposes, was a "true freshman" last year. Most of
my Husker friends and relatives around me say that Dailey is terrible
and that he won't see any action next year. I tell them he had a lot
thrown at him, showed some flashes of talent and I love his attitude.
He's a trooper and he's studying and working hard. Whether his
physical abilities are there for this level of passing offense, we'll
find out (I'm a bit nervous about his overall accuracy). But I could
see improvement in the mental part of the game as the year went on and
I think that if his physical abilities are there, he will still be in
the picture. To dismiss him completely at this stage of the game has
less to do with objective analysis than it does with emotion. A
comment like "Dailey is undoubtedly done" is pure speculation,
frivolous and gives him less credit that he has earned as a starting
QB.
