     I tend to agree.  The words "could" and "couldn't" have exact opposite meanings.  When it was decided they mean the same thing it was decided it applied only when saying "couldn't care less" or "could care less."  In all other circumstances the words "could" and "couldn't" mean what they really mean.  Anyway, I wasn't trying to stir anything up.  I just wanted to make sure I understand what the gentleman was trying to say when I responded.
