Score was worse than the game - we stayed in it, but just couldn't claw
back into the lead after the first half.

2nd half started out poorly - what McCray with 3 quick turnovers, we
didn't protect the ball very well in the 2nd half, and shot the ball
poorly. Poor defense underneath, and KU shooting the lights out even when
the defense was good. KU came to town remembering last year's mashing,
with a vengeance.

KU has four seniors - Simien, Langford among them, not that it'll make a
difference, but McCray's inexperience showed up.

Our two dynamic freshmen didn't have a very good game. MCray with only 7,
Marics playing only sparingly, finishing with zero. Good thing Dourisseau
showed up to play, finishing with 24. Wilkinson with 13. Turek with 12.

We still have a fair amount of basketball to play, but Dave Norris was
right, this was make or break for any shot at the NCAA tourney. We might
have a shot at the NIT, given that the Big 12 North other than KU is a
mess, and we can pick up some wins in the next few games.

Nice touch by the few KU fans with the rockchalkjayhawkKU chant at the
end.

Darn. (that's the G version under new FCC rules. It certainly wasn't what
was said at our house. <G>)

Coach K collapsing? Ouch. How 'bout Minnesota this year? Surprise
team......
