     It depends what you mean when you say I could care less about recruiting, and I assume you mean you COULDN'T care less.  If you mean just because one comes in with glitzy stats doesn't necessarily mean they are going to pan out you are correct.  A great recruiting class on paper doesn't necessarily mean great results.  But, recruiting is the life blood of any program.  If you don't recruit you don't have a program.  So, looking at it that way I don't believe I could bring myself to the point to say I couldn't care less about recruiting.  While it is true, as has been stated, you still have to play the games, I would rather be rated the number one recruiting class than have everyone wonder where in the world we came up with these guys.  I never expect freshman to come in and have an impact the first year in Callahan's system or anyone else's system.  It is tough enough adjusting to college life after living with Mom and Dad all your life let alone absorbing the football system.
