[Husker] Defensive coaching assignment changes

This is probably an unanswerable question, but what makes Blake -- among other select coaches really good recruiters?  I imagine they are good at identifying with and relating to the high school student athletes, but has any one heard anything in particular?  

I wasn't real excited about Blake coming here (he had some bad history with the Cowboys when Switzter brought him to Dallas), but I've been fairly impressed with what I've heard about his recruiting abilities at NU.
