This year's greyshirts are also a little different from before. Previously the coaches
used greyshirts when they had plenty of available spots on the 25 yearly limit but
were pushing the 85 limit.

So I *thought* that a greyshirt who signed in 05 to enroll in 06 would acount towards the
05 25 scholarship limit and against the 85 limit when school started in 06 (since some SRs
graduate in Dec, their scholarships open).

Obviously the NCAA compliance officer is paid to know this (which I am not) so I assume
that grey shirts work a little differently. But it is hard to understand how a JUCO who signs
in Dec 05 for Jan 06 enrollment counts against the 05 25 limit but a greyshirt who signs
in Feb 05 for Jan 06 enrollment doesn't count against 05.

My head hurts.
