[Husker] Scholarship limit question

Depends on what class the 31 players are assigned. Acorrding to Mike Nolan's interpretation of the rules, there
should be no problem. However press reports say different.

Here is how I understand the rules:

The 25 limit is calander year based on signing LOI and scholarship assignment. 3 JUCO signed in Dec since they stated
the Jan semester. Of the remaining 28, 2 are grey shirts, so they do not go under sholarship until Jan 06 & count against
next years class of 25. That means there are 26 players for 25 spots. It is likely the coaches are hedging their bets that
at least one will not enroll due to grades.

This has happened before. Under TO, one class had 26 players & LB Eric Johnson agreed to wait if he needed to. Turns out
his grades were not there, an one or two more, so the class had 23 I think.

I preface everything I said on that there is disagreement on what class JUCOs are assigned to. Mike knows a lot about
the NCAA rules but what he says is different from the press reports.

Obviously the press is wrong. :-)
