Are you guys serious... Arkansas State, Troy? How ironic that the Sun Belt
conference teams are mentioned. Do their referees come to Lincoln, too?
Maybe they can team up with Steve Usecheck (sp)...
As a season ticket holder, it would be nice to see someone do something more
challenging with the schedule. I'd enjoy the close games, rather than the
blowouts...as long as the team gives 100% effort.
I'd think that potential recruits would be more interested in playing other
top athletes.

I read in the Lincoln Star that Arkansas St. and Troy where coming to
Lincoln next year. And the fact that both of these teams are in the Sun Belt
Conference.

The AD is responsible for scheduling. He may delegate those tasks to
delegates like the Asst. AD for Football Operations.
There are currently two openings in the 2006 schedule. Considering that our
department likes to schedule a "1 hard, 1 medium, and 1 easy" NC schedule,
with USC fitting in the "hard" slot, expect to fill the other slots with an
Illinois State-type and an Arkansas-type.
