Whose job is it to schedule future opponents?

 

Are there still two or three openings on the 2006 schedule?  Is it normal to
not have the following year's non-conference schedule wrapped up by now?

 

What teams in the top 75 have open dates that might schedule Nebraska?

 

Is there any chance that the responsible party will schedule a decent
home-and-away series with a perennial top 25 team?
