[Husker] What Goes Around

Those of us old enough to remember the pre-Devaney days of NU football
can find an extra dose of satisfaction in the Huskers' stirring victory
last night. In the Bobfather's first year, 1962, NU got on the national
football map by beating Michigan in Ann Arbor. History has (sort of)
repeated itself, in that beating the Wolverines will go a long way
toward returning the Huskers to at least some measure of national
prominence.
I have to wonder about the "fans" who were openly pulling for Pitt to
beat Nebraska so as to expedite the firing of Bill Callahan (and doesn't
seem like a long time ago?). What do you suppose they're thinking now?
