Interestingly enough, Sports Center reported that the game saving tackle was made by Zachary "Brown" (not Bowman) and gave coach "Mike" (not Bill) Callahan his first bowl victory as head coach. For a network whose announcers thoroughly slammed the officials and their replay performance, one would think that having the benefit of videotape, the Sports Center anchors could get the names correct. Not like Callahan is a total unknown or anything, he did coach in the Super Bowl.

Anyway, great win for the Huskers and additional fuel for the "midwest" coast offense fire! Gotta work on that playing until the whistle blows thing, though. Only eight more months until 2006 season!

The announcers were bad, but ESPN research was horrible. Since when does Michigan have 11 national championships? I think 7 or 6.5 is more like it.

This crew of referees is way out of their league. They are terrible.

Almost as bad as the announcers. : - )
