This is a decision made by a 18 year old kid, maybe 17 depending on his birthday. That is
why they are verbal. 2 years ago Alan Evridge made a verbal commit to NU. However, with
the coaching staff he had no clue if it the offer would have been honored by the new coaching
staff. If it had, not too certain if it would have been at a QB.
For Freeman this is the best move, except when he meets Carriacker, Moore, et al in next years
game. :-)
He is not very far behind the experienced QBs since there is a new staff & (I assume) a complete
new offense. With spring pactice, he has a good opportunity to win the starting spot. If KSU's
line does not get better,I do not know how much he will like starting.

I certainly hope it is sarcasm. While I seldom agree with you, I would never make a comment
like that, even in jest. There is a significant difference from changing your mind on where you
want to go to school to cheating on your wife/husband and destroying your family.
