"Informed individuals in coaching and agent circles say Davis is at or 
near the top of the list of Colorado candidates to replace fired coach 
Gary Barnett. Davis, a former University of Miami and Cleveland Browns 
coach, is at the very least among the top tier of coaches on CU athletic 
director Mike Bohn's wish list.

Davis, reached Friday at NFL Network studios where he serves as an 
analyst, declined to comment on whether he had been contacted or had any 
interest in the CU coaching vacancy."
